Halloween at the Harwood's

Halloween was quite fun for us this year. Last year Macie was just too little, but this time around she was much more interested in all the festivities. All month long we had pumpkin pancakes and made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and finally it was time to go trick-or-treating!This is Macie with all her cute cousins. Ethan was a Fire Fighter, Dylan was in the Army, Hayden was an adorable tree frog, and Macie Bug was a Lady Bug. My dad recently had surgery on his ankle and has been in need of a little Dad-sitting. Macie and I have had fun going and fixing him breakfast and lunch so that my mom can go to work for a few hours everyday. He is doing great and I think has enjoyed the time with Macie. We took Macie Trick-or-treating to some of my parents neighbors and around Steve's parents neighborhood. Macie was more excited about walking around than she was about trick-or-treating. When we would walk up to a door she would get impatient about having to stand on the porch and wait, she just wanted to lead us around the neighborhood. After we were done Trick-or-treating we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa Harwood's house to catch the end of the Utah game. GO UTES!!!
At the end of the day, trick-or-treating is hard work, but the payoff is sweet!!!
YUM!
Happy Halloween!!!
